Refund Policy

A legal disclaimer

At GateMaTech Ltd, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We stand by the quality of our products and services and aim to resolve any issues promptly and fairly. This Refund Policy outlines your rights and our obligations under New Zealand consumer law.

 

Change of Mind
 

We do not offer refunds for a change of mind once a service has been performed or products have been installed. Please choose carefully and ensure all job details are confirmed before work begins.

 

Faulty or Defective Products
 

If a product we supplied is found to be faulty or defective, you are entitled to:
 

  • A repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the severity of the fault

  • Action in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
     

Please notify us within 7 days of discovering any fault.

 

Issues with Services Provided
 

If you are not satisfied with the quality of a service we provided:
 

  • Contact us immediately to discuss the issue

  • We will assess the situation and, if appropriate, offer to rectify the work, refund part or all of the service cost, or re-perform the service
     

All workmanship is covered under a 12-month service guarantee unless stated otherwise.

 

 Cancellations and Refunds Before Service
 

  • Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service will not incur a fee.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a call-out or admin fee.

  • Deposits (if applicable) may be non-refundable depending on the project stage and any materials already purchased.

 

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please email us at admin@gatematech.co.nz with the following:

  • Your name and contact details

  • Date of service or purchase

  • Invoice or receipt number

  • A brief explanation of the issue
     

We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve any valid claims within 7 business days.

 

Final Notes

  • All refunds (where applicable) will be processed via the original payment method.

  • This policy does not override your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any applicable laws in New Zealand.
